Thursday Pizza Lunch details: 10/14/21
Pizza Pickup: Trotter
Dessert: (3 doz. each) 1. Trotter (Kelley) 2. Bergamo 3. 3 dozen more needed!
It has come to our attention that the number of students ordering pizza lunch has dramatically increased this year. This is due in part to 14 new families at CCS. That said, we need 3 dozen more desserts each week, which means I need each family to sign up 4 times a year instead of 3. Please send desserts ready to serve. They do not need to be individually wrapped as all servers wear gloves. Thank you!

Memory Verse due 10/15/21: Joshua 1:5-9 “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.
7 “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. 8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Second Novel Projects are extra novels read by the student at home or if there is extra time in a class. There are three due throughout the year. The student may use a Kindle or any other e-reader, but he/she must abide by all e-reader rules or lose the privilege for the rest of the year. The student may choose from two tracks. The second track requires more work, but there is a reward for doing it. Each track has projects and a worldview analysis to go with the reading. For the second trimester 2nd Novel project, students are to select a book that is FICTION. Second Trimester 2nd Novel is due Thursday, December 9th. I will assign this project on Monday, October 11th which will give students two months (60 days!) to complete it.
