Memory Verse: All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Math: Bits and Pieces
L. Arts: Grammar: Shurley CH. 18/ Test Thursday Jan.16th
Literature: The Grammar of Poetry (We will be learning different figures of speech along with meter, foot, and rhyme scheme. This unit takes around 5 weeks. The end test is VERY difficult. The key to doing well on this poetry test is to learn the definitions of terms and the scanning of poetry along the way and not to cram at the end. This is a test that the information cannot be learned the night before. It is a great time for students to practice learning information to keep in their memory for the long term and not for the short term.)

Snow is in the forecast! A few things to remember….
- Please have your child bring or wear snow pants (with uniform pants underneath), snow boots and gloves. If they wear snow boots to school, please have them bring a pair of slippers for the classroom.
- Watch for alerts on your phone and email for a snow day closure if needed. If Lewiston schools close we will close, however, we may make a decision to close outside of this general policy.
- If we do have school, we could use some men to shovel snow before school on snowy mornings.
Elementary School Night with the Warriors! LCSC v. Rocky Mountain College basketball games at 2:00 and 4:00. Pizza is served between 2:30 & 3:00. Let the school office know the number from your family attending.
