Our 4th Grade skit is coming up this Friday at Chapel. Please make sure your child has ‘farmer’ type clothes. Jeans and checked/plaid shirt would be fine.
Our first CCS food drive of the school year will be this week. We will be collecting soups on Mon., Tues., Weds. and Thurs., and announcing the class winner on Friday.

|Cow Plop News||Sell and turn in 40 Cow Plop squares||Ice Cream Treat Reward (This is a change-see below)|
Our second reward day for selling 40 squares by Tuesday, Sept. 21st is a treat reward on Wed., Sept. 22nd . Our Cow Plop t-shirts will be delayed slightly and will not be here for next week’s reward. So we will have an ice cream treat for those who sell 40 or more in place of wearing a Cow Plop or 25-year T-shirt .
“PROTECTING YOUNG EYES”- Digital Forensic Detective and CCS parent, Larry Mowery, will be presenting information on internet and social media safety for parents who wish to attend. He will be discussing parental roles, current digital trends, parental tools and answering your questions. We strongly recommend our parents to attend this presentation on October 7 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. here at the school. For those parents attending please take the time before this date to watch the Childhood 2.0 Movie (www.childhood2movie.com). This movie is also a great resource for those parents who are not able to attend the presentation. This is for parents only.

Pizza Lunch Thursdays
Turn in pizza forms by Wednesday. Pizza lunch is $4 for a slice of pizza, and carrots. Extra slices are $1. Dessert treats are $.25 and $.50. This is a fundraiser for the 7th graders who will be going Washington D.C. next year.
¨ Please keep your child home if any symptoms.
¨ If your child has a runny nose, sneeze or cough they will be asked to wear a mask.
¨ Parents/Volunteers will be outside only for the first month.
¨ Positive student case: Student home for 10 days and 24 hours symptom free.
¨ Positive family case: Children stay home for 10 days.
