Spelling: Double consonants! Address, butter, classroom, happen, ladder, lesson, merry, million, really, rubber, smell, sudden, sunny, supper, unhappy
English: Pattern 1, 2 and 3 sentences classifying, and using quotes.
Math X’s 5’s! Larger, smaller differences, arrays, area of a rectangle, sums of three addends.
Social Studies: Colonial lifestyles: Colonial jobs! Kids pick a colonial job, then in Tech they will research their job and create a colonial business!
Reading: BFG
Typing: PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! Several of the student’s typing scores went down this last trimester or stayed the same, so please enforce more edutyping practice at home. The goal for the last semester was 10……some are still under this goal. The goal for this last semester is 15-20! Tap, tap, tap!
Class News: Thanks to everyone who made it to our morning chapel today! So glad you could make it! FYI…the next two months will be the same! In March we will be doing scripture and April-Marimbas! So plan accordingly! You won’t want to miss it!

Star Auction News…
The CCS Star Auction will be an online auction format this year. The online auction will take place starting on Wednesday, March 3 at 9a.m. (12p.m. EST) and ending on Sunday March 7 at 7p.m. (10p.m. EST) on BiddingOwl.com. Please mark these days on your calendar and spread the word!
Please turn in your donation for the Star Auction as soon as possible!

Silverwood Reading Program
Your K-6 child should have brought home in their homework folders a Silverwood reading form and information. Students in grades K-6 can earn a one-day Silverwood ticket for reading for ten hours between now and March 25. Forms are due on March 25 and must have a parent’s signature on them.
