Social Studies: Native American Tribes of North America: Looking at cultures of many different tribes! Creating History packets to keep all our crafts and stories. I am sending home a study sheet for the whole unit. DO NOT THROW AWAY PLEASE! Each week we will have a small quiz on just two of the tribes we have learned about. Please help your child study the facts each week for those two tribes. Our first two tribes will be the Inuit and the Tlingit. #1 It’s really important to learn how to study for a quiz or a test and to be prepared for them in future classes! #2 It’s also important to retain some of the important facts they are learning. (Not to just color and craft something, then hide it away in a folder to not think of again!)
Class notes: Thank you everyone for signing up for conferences! I can’t wait to chat with every one of you!
***I was just checking our typing scores and all the kids are over 5 words per minute(wpm)! That is our goal for the first tri-mester! Yippee! Great job kiddos! Next tri-mester is 10wpm!
***Working on getting a tennis field trip scheduled here soon! Just waiting for them to call back! Keep your fingers crossed!
