Our next field trip is on Monday Jan. 29th. We will be going to the Spalding Museum. I am in need of drivers. We will need to leave school about 8:40am and we will return by 11:20am. Please let me know if you can help.
Because of the 4th grade schedule, our Valentine’s party will be the afternoon of Thurs. Feb. 15th. We will be having ice-cream sundaes. I will send home a list of sundae items for your children to bring. I am looking for volunteers to host the valentine’s party. By the time we have the ice-cream sundaes, the students will have about 1 ½ hrs left for the party. Let me know if you would like to take this on!
Please encourage the students to be reading each day, and sign the number of minutes that they have read in their planners, so we can add the minutes read to our grand total!
***Very important news for our river-boat trip***
Our big river boat adventure will be on Thursday May 3rd from about 9a.m until about 5p.m We get a great deal with Snake River Adventures for $100 per person. We have to have at least 28 people to get that price, so I am encouraging each student to have at least one parent with them. This is really a trip of a lifetime, especially if you have never been before. You will also be required to pay $100 for your student, and we encourage you and any family member or friend (no other children) to come with us also. Lunch and drinks are provided. There are restroom facilities on the boat, and we take a few short hikes off the boat to see some historical places. It really is a very fun day for everyone!! I will be needing complete payment by March 1st, so I can get a head count. Please invite grandparents, aunts, uncles etc. to come along with us! The more the merrier!!
